Each
panel is designed individually. Whether you have a very clear design in mind or
not I will do my best to design a unique piece to complement the style of your
home.
I
can make stained glass panels for doors, windows, kitchen units or
free-standing screens. I also make stained glass mirrors and plaques for
special occasions to commemorate an anniversary or as a unique wedding present.
Before
I can suggest a design I will need the measurements, and an idea of what you
would like. This may depend on the age and style of your house, any other
stained glass you may have, your colour scheme or even your hobbies.
I
will then do some drawings and give you an estimate. I charge for glass, lead
and materials used. On top of this my labour charge is based on the number of
cut pieces of glass that go into your design. So, for example, a transom window
above a front door could start at as little as £140.
